This series is about building identity and a big part of my identity is growing up at my grandparent's house. For this project I wanted to take photos of my grandparents and places around their house that I thought symbolized them or places I had significant memories in. I wanted to show two portraits of each of them, one of them looking at the camera and one of them looking at each other off-camera. For the portraits of myself, I wanted to take two photos, one in a room that signifies my grandma and one in a room that signifies my grandpa. For the rest of the photos, 4 of them are things that remind me of both of them, 3 signify Pa, and 3 signify Nan. I also decided to put the photos in black and white to make it seem more nostalgic.
